Important Instructions Regarding CAP Round-3 Registration

  1. Candidates who failed to register for CAP in the previous rounds are eligible to register for CAP Round-3.
  2. Candidates who were allotted a seat in CAP Round-2 but did not join, did not report, or cancelled their admission must register again if they wish to participate in CAP Round-3. Such candidates are required to pay the registration fee and security deposit as per the Information Brochure (Table 2, Page No. 16).
  3. Candidates who are eligible as per the revised eligibility criteria must register afresh and pay the prescribed registration fee and security deposit to participate in the CAP process.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  1. Candidates are advised to carefully read the Information Brochure available on the official website and confirm their eligibility for each counselling round well in advance.
  2. Candidates are provided with a free exit option only in CAP Round-1. From subsequent rounds onwards, there is no provision for free exit.
  3. Candidates must ensure that they possess all necessary documents required for category claims, strictly in the prescribed format mentioned in the Information Brochure.
    • For EWS candidates, only the format given in Annexure A is valid. Annexure I will not be accepted for admission through the State Quota.
  4. Candidates should verify the fee structure of unaided private medical colleges beforehand through the respective college website or the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) website before filling their preferences.
  5. Candidates applying under the PwD quota must produce a certificate issued only by authorized boards in online format. Certificates issued by any other authority will not be considered.
  6. NRI candidates must first register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal. After obtaining eligibility, they must register on the CAP portal as per the schedule mentioned above.
