Pork Ribs Sinigang(Pork ribs in tamarind soup base mix)

  • 2 lbs pork ribs or pork butt with skin
  • 1/2 medium tomato cut in cubes
  • 1/2  medium white or yellow onions
  • 2 pcs Anaheim peppers
  • 1 cup of sitaw or use 1 whole stalk cut into 2 inches (Chinese long beans)
  • 1 cup of japanese raddish cut into cubes or in rounds (whatever is your preference)
  • 1 small eggplant cut into thicker strips or in rounds (whatever is your preference)
  • 1 stalk watercress(kangkong) or spinach, or if you can’t find any of them, you can used Gai-lan, Chinese Brocolli leaves.
  • 1 pack of Knorr tamaring soup mix

1. Substitutions: Like any other recipes, using other types of meat or if seafood is preferred, is all up to you. This is a free country, you are allowed to do anything as long as it is legal… ;p

2. I love vegetables so I load them up with veggies. I always use Gailan or Bokchoy for more texture and crunch

3. You can put Jalapeno peppers if you prefer it to be spicy. The Anaheim peppers are not spicy and it has that sweet taste that adds up to the flavor
